Mindfulness &
Yoga

How do we make it through a day?

Having awareness of yourself in your environment sounds like it should be easy, right?

But because of distractions like phones, computers, and work or family schedules, we are constantly streaming new information. Multi-tasking and espresso drinks are how most people get through the day.

Studies continue to find that this way of life is only making our ability to cope with stress more challenging.

A quick reprieve

When we can steal a moment in our day to take deep breaths, meditate, or practice yoga, we are nourishing ourselves by providing our brain and body with a reprieve. You can think of it as a mini-vacation for the day, coming back to the workload refreshed and capable to perform your duties as an employee, boss, or parent.

Integrating mindfulness within therapy allows clients to gain access to these simple yet incredibly useful techniques to better manage their feelings and reactions to frustrations.

Guided meditations, breathing, and yoga-based interventions help clients who feel all consumed by anxious thoughts to enter into a conscious state that is body-centered.
